About Parenting Matters
You are definitely not alone if you find parenting/caregiving one of the most difficult lifetime challenges.
Parents/caregivers can have an enormous influence on their children’s overall health and wellbeing during childhood and beyond. The way you parent definitely matters!
What is it?
Parenting Matters is designed to give parents and caregivers an understanding of the basics of positive parenting. The online series will be facilitated by two Thunder Bay District Health Unit Public Health Nurses and will address some of the most common parenting and behavioural issues families face.
When is it?
Parenting Matters Seminar Series will run for 3 weeks via Microsoft Teams on Wednesday evenings between 5:30 and 7:30 pm starting on September 21st and ending on October 5th.
Who is it for?
Seminars provide brief help for parents or caregivers who are generally coping well but have one or two concerns with their child's behaviour or development.
Seminars are suitable for parents/caregivers of children aged 2 to 12 years.
